Link drop end of May

I always wanted to be able to share all the bookmarks I take on raindrop.io every day. And finally I made that place for myself right on the my personal website.

In times when Google basically wants to sweep the entire open web under their weird Ai enabled rug, I guess it can't hurt to have more links from independent sources going around :)

On Google eroding user's trust more and more

Whenever I speak with Google fans I wonder how they can't wonder about how their data is being used. Or well, they do I guess but it never really seems to bother anyone that using Google services essentially means stripping naked … fascinating really.

And it's not like I'm an infosec nerd who just calls his grandma on encrypted Signal calls with my tinfoil hat tipped either.

Anyway, the whole discussion after Google I/O this week reminded me of this article about trust thermoclines and I'm wondering if there's something like that happening with Google's user base at all or not.
